Through my experiences working in different camps, I’ve noticed a significant gap in matching the talents and abilities of staff members with the specific needs of camps. As I mentioned in my previous emails, over the years I’ve built a broad network of contacts, especially in Latin America, Israel, Spain, and other countries, which helps me connect with young people who are interested in working at camps in the U.S. and Canada.

One of the challenges I’ve encountered is the mismatch of expectations between camps and international staff, which can lead to an unsatisfactory experience. Our goal as a recruitment agency is to ensure the best match for everyone. What sets us apart from other agencies is that I’ve lived the camp experience year after year (and I still do, I´m currently the Rosh Tzevet at Camp Massad Montreal). I’ve held almost every position in camp (specialist, Rosh, and now Rosh Tzevet), and beyond that, I’ve worn many hats in life — I’m a mother, a teacher, a rebbetzin, chef, videographer, journalist, editor, and much more. This diverse experience allows me to understand the unique needs of both the camp and the staff.

I also personally interview every prospect and check references, without relying on algorithms to match candidates with camps.
